This is a super fast, super easy craft that yields a great end result. You also get to use up some of your paper scraps. My favorite kind of project!
Materials needed:
- Clothespins
- Scraps of coordinating paper
- Mod podge
- Paint brush
- Optional: Glitter glue, rhinestones, flowers, or any other embellishment you can think of!

Step one:
Trace your clothespin on the wrong side of your paper. Do this twice and cut out your paper.
Step two:
Apply a thin layer of mod podge to one side of the clothespin. Attach your paper right side up to the clothespin and smooth out any bubbles. Apply another thin layer of mod podge over the top of the paper.
Allow to dry. (I found it was easiest, since I was doing multiple clothespins, to do one side at a time. By the time I got to the last one, the first was dry enough to do the opposite side. I then layed them on their sides to dry).
Step three:
Trim any excess paper around the edges (if necessary).
Step four (optional):
Add glitter, rhinestones, flowers or any other kind of coordinating embellishment to finish the clothespins off.
These make great gifts and can be used for all sorts of things. I typically use them as fancy "chip clips" and make them to coordinate with my kitchen. You could also attach a magnet to one side to keep them within easy reach on the fridge.
