For this week's Spruce It Up Sunday, I thought I would share some of my favorite Pinterest finds to help you get organized.
Shoe organizers can be used for so many things. You can use them to house smaller crafting supplies, kid's art supplies (I did this in my house!), small packages in your pantry, mittens, scarves and hats in your closet. The possibilities are endless and they are not overly expensive.
Utilize the under-used space on the inside of a cabinet door. This one combines a shoe organizer and the back of the door - double bonus points!
Baskets and bins are great for organizing on shelves and in closets, but have you ever thought about using them in your refrigerator or freezer? This is an easy way to keep like things together. You can even set up a basket for snacks for your younger kids to be able to help themselves. Keep lunch making supplies together to make mornings easier!
Last, but not least. Have you ever needed to unplug an electrical cord but couldn't figure out which one to unplug? This is one of those "why didn't I think of that" type projects. Use your plastic bread tabs to organize the cords plugged into a power strip. (I have also labeled the cords using my label maker. I print out a sticker and then just wrap it around the cord.)
So get out there and get organizing! You will be so glad you did. :) Do you have any simple, inexpensive organizing tips to share? I would love to hear them.
