Ninjago Lollipops and Printable Ninjago Eyes

I am so excited to finally get around to sharing some details from my son's Lego Ninjago birthday party we had for him in October.

The first craft I want to show you are these adorable Ninjago lollipops. They were so easy to make and fit perfectly in with the theme. There are four other ninjas other than the green one, but since (I am told by my 6 year old) he is the coolest one, we focused on the color green for all the party decor.

Supplies Needed:

I started by cutting off a length of the crepe paper. There was no exact science here, just a nice long piece. I folded the crepe paper in half lengthwise.

Hold down the top of the lollipop wrapper towards the back. Start wrapping around the top part of the blow pop. Basically I covered from one end of the wrapper, over the top, to the other side.

Then, I just started wrapping around the whole pop, being sure to tuck in the loose end. Once the original lollipop label was covered, I attached the loose end with a glue dot. (Trim any excess crepe paper).

Next, I created some Ninjago eyes on the computer. I printed them on sticker paper and cut them out. Since they were already stickers, I just attached them to the blow pop with the adhesive back. (If you don't have sticker paper, just print on regular printer paper (cardstock would be too stiff) and glue onto the crepe paper covered blow pop.)

I do not recommend using dum dum type lollipops. They are not big enough to make these work. We added these lollipops to the favor bags we handed out at the end of the party!

Download your own small ninjago eyes (This printable is for personal use only. I would love for you to share these, but please link back to the original post and do not host them on your own site.)
