Baby Shower: Advice Book

At my friends' 'Enchanted Forest' baby shower I hosted, I had each guest write some words of advice for the parents-to-be. I wanted to make a special keepsake for her that would include all of those cards, plus some other quotes that I had found about parenthood.

I used a DCWV Premium Stack called 'Linen Closet Matstack' for the cardstock papers that made up my book. Half of the pages were glittered. These papers are already 4.5" x 6.5", so they worked perfectly for the size of the advice cards to leave some space on the side to attach them with a binder ring. The embellishments were all ones I found at Jo Ann's in their dollar aisle.

I embellished each page that the guests wrote on, as well as the quotes that I had printed out on my computer.

I tied ribbons around the binder ring and embellished the front cover using a vellum quote glued to a glitter frame and the whole thing was attached using foam squares.

The very last page of the album included the quote that was on the invitations that I made for the shower. I felt like this was a good way to tie everything together.

Following are the quotes I printed out and included in the book. I wanted there to be a mix of practical, sentimental and humorous ones.
